ALTAR WORKERS: A team who is trained to pray with those who come forward during services for prayer.

BIG DAY OUTREACHES: Those who like to help with big day outreaches, such as Thanksgiving, Easter, and other special events and services.

CITY KIDS TEAM: A team who serves elementary-aged children during Wednesday night and weekend services. City Kids is a high-energy service for children. There are opportunities for those who like to teach, lead music, do arts and crafts, help with food, greeters, set up and clean up, and many more.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY: A praise and small-group based recovery program for those with hurts, habits and hang-ups.

CONNECTION PARTNERS:  A team who phones new visitors to get to know them and help them learn about everything that is going on at City Church.

EARLY CHILDHOOD TEAM: A team who provides for the care of infants and preschool children for City Church services. Needed are organizers, greeters, teachers, arts and crafts helpers, and assistants.

ENCOURAGING WORD TEAM: A team that administers the tape and video ministry.

EVANGELISM TEAM: A team who is committed to advancing the kingdom of God through spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. Involves giving your testimony, passing out flyers, and other face-to-face events.

EVENTS SET-UP AND TEAR-DOWN: A team who sets up for events such as picnics, Thanksgiving and other holidays and special events, and who is responsible for putting things back to normal after the events.

GREETERS:  The welcoming team who warmly greets everyone attending the worship service.  These people give first impressions of friendliness, acceptance, and love to members, attendees, and visitors alike.

HOSPITAL VISITATION: A team who likes to visit and pray for those in the hospital or at home due to illness.

HOSPITALITY TEAM: People who love to host others in their homes, or who like to provide hospitality to special guests at our church.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TEAM: Those who can help with computer issues.

LANDSCAPING: A team who keeps up with the landscaping needs through planting, weeding, etc.

MEAL PREPARATION: A team who prepares and provides meals for the sick, new mothers, or for funerals, etc.

MEAL SET-UP: A team to set up lunches and other meals for Classes 101, 201 and 301, for work-days and other special events.

MEDIA TECHNICIANS:  A team who set up and monitor the sound and video for media activities.

MEN’S MINISTRY: Men who want to help other men grow in maturity as men of God through teaching and relationship.

MISSIONS: Those who love missions and would like to stay in touch with the missionaries we support. They also promote missions in the church.

MUSIC/DRAMA: A team made up of those who play musical instruments or sing, and who love to worship the Lord and help others enter into worship.

OFFICE HELP: A team that helps in the office doing copying, stapling, folding, filing, organizing and other needs of the hour.

PRAYER TEAM: A team who meets regularly to pray for the needs and purposes of City Church.

REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE: The people who keep our church humming along. Anyone with specialized skills or just a desire to do physical work.

TEACHERS: Those who can lead Bible Studies, Sunday School classes and small groups.

USHERS: The welcoming team that assists people into the worship service by handing out bulletins, overseeing the service in general, and assisting people where needed.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY: Women who want to help other women grow in Christ and grow together.

YOUTH MINISTRY: A team who loves teens and wants to help them grow in spiritual and emotional maturity.  Greeters, media helpers, drivers.
